WCGN had a very productive work day in early May, but we weren’t able to do all the mulching we wanted to, so we’re planning another mini-workday July 14, Bastille Day. We’ll do weeding and mulching, starting at 9:00 and finishing between 11:00 and noon.
If you can make it and if it is easy, please bring gloves, weeding tools, shovels, rakes, and carts or wheelbarrows. It is hoped that the parking lot construction is finished by then so we’ll have more direct access. (If it isn’t, and you are driving there, you need to use the Walnut Street access to the station.)
The more people come, the sooner we can all go home and cool off!
